Domain Advice .com vs ...

In your humble opinion, which do you think would garner more SERP love...

(keep in mind I am trying to target the keyword "widget")

widgetinfo.com

or widget.cc (or a similar extension, widget.ws etc)

I have a network of websites and have captured #1 spots in google, however I have always used .com's

Thoughts?

You do know that there is a nifty search function in this forum that will reveal where there are almost daily discussions of this topic?

But, the short answer is that the domain extension doesn't matter for SEO purposes as long as it's not a regional extension which isn't recognized as having been internationalized. What matters for SEO purposes is the quality and quantity of links to your domain, the relevance of the content on your site to searched keywords and the strength of your competition for the keywords.
