ADSENSE COVERAGE: 50% Coverage Due To Redirects?

In the new adsense interface I noticed a metric called 'Coverage'.

From Google:

"Coverage is the ratio of requested ad units or queries to the number that is returned to the site. Generally, coverage can help you identify sites where AdSense isn't able to provide targeted ads."

I notice my coverage is 50% for many of my sites.

And that's only the case for URL channels with the 'www.' prefix.

I have 301 redirects for each site, and am wondering if this is the cause
for the coverage issue.

And if it is... does this mean I am somehow losing out on half my potential
coverage/revenue?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

      That's a pretty helpful metric.
After all, if relevant ads are not being served all the time you are missing out on clicks!
