I'm new to Market Samurai and have been playing with it a bit. I'd like to hear from some experienced users as to what statistics you consider when looking for a good keyword? Which stats do you look at and what are acceptable values for you to roll with that keyword?

    It really depends - anything with more than 2400 searches per month with low competition is worth investigating further IMO but maybe other people will see it differently.

    - searches --> average number of people who search current keyword Daily
    - SEOT --> maximum potential daily clicks that 1st rank site could potentially achieve

    and you can see the trend graphic too to analyse your keyword trend..

    market samurai is still working eventough the trial period has expired. you can still analyze any keyword with this tool.

    It highly depends to the power of your website. If you have an aged domain with many powerful backlinks, you can choose high competitive keywords with a lot of searches per month. But if your domain is average, its better that you choose keywords with low amount of monthly searches as these keywords are usually low competitive.
