Good Way To Get High PR Backlinks ???

Hi everyone I was just wondering if anyone had tried this for getting high PR + highly related backlinks.

My thought was Contacting high PR sites in my niche and asking for a one way link in return for say, some social bookmarking, or article syndication.

this way they get lots of links in exchange for 1 and I dont have to waste my time getting reciprocal links.

Anyone tried anything like this successfully

    Another good way to get quality links
    is to guest post on blogs. You won't
    just be getting links, you'll also get
    high quality, targeted traffic.

      There's not a lot of blogs in this niche its not really a mainstream topic but there's lots of traffic and middle to low competition.

      Most other sites in this niche are involved in reciprocal liking to each other but that,s not what I want. I want 1 way links which are a lot more powerful. So a link for a link is not an option.

    If you want to give them articles, then you might try guest blogging.... this site is setup to bring guest bloggers together with people who want fresh content for their blogs:

    But keep in mind that submitting article to a high PR blog will usually not get you a high PR link because your article will be on a PR 0 page. If you want links from an actual high PR page, you would need to buy them or comment on a blog post that is actually on a high PR page itself (not the PR of the domain). I don't know of any other ways, but if someone else does I would love to hear them myself!

      A link on a PR 0 page on a high PR site is very different in terms of "link juice" than a link on a PR 0 site.

      I suppose if you wanted to you could send some backlinks to your guest post as a kind of link pyramid sort of strategy.

        Yes, I agree - I should have added that! I think of them in a "good, better, best" kind of way:

        good=any link
        better=a link from a high PR site
        best=a link from a high PR PAGE

    I used to do something simular. I would contact webmasters and tell them how much I liked their site and that I had an article that I thought their visitors would really find interesting. I'd also say that I can give them this article on the condition that the links stay active within the article.
    Most agreed to this.

    This only works for sites that are not directly competing with you.

    This method is a numbers game so the more webmasters you contact the more articles you'll get out. It's also very time consuming but it can be effective.

    TIP: Don't subscribe to Angela's Backlinks....use an OUTSOURCER who subscribes to the backlinks packets (and they exist on ODesk) and not only will you get the backlinks packets but you'll also get someone to submit them for you.

    In most cases those webmsters don't reply your email specially if your website is new. Its clear. They don't link to a new website or exchange links with it when their pagerank is i.e 5 and your pagerank is lower. I think this way doesn't work for you. Its better that you use other common one way link building methods.

      The best way to get high PR backlink is to build it yourself. Anything higher than PR0 is hard to come by. Most article sites will make hitting PR0 pretty easy. Then point enough of those at something to make it a PR1 and so on.

      Or hack Wikipedia or pubmed or youtube or Google.
