does anyone has an idea whatever happened to my site..

i have a website Treatmentguru.com

it was ranking nicely and getting 100 page views everyday. Just from a couple of days the traffic has dropped to 2-3 visitors a day.

I JUST CANNOT UNDERSTAND THIS!

Is this because of something i did wrong? I never did any link selling on my site. The content has always been 100% original..

I am thinking positively and hope that the traffic would come back to normal and even increase..

any idea or experiences????????????????

      Google are nuking and slapping everybody these days, I keep coming across regular mentions of whats called 'The Google Slap' lol

      Haha I agree 100% it's happened to me before and my brother, takes a week or two then springs right back up. Usually only happens to newer sites.

    If you didn't do any mistake for making backlinks or having low quality contents on your website, the position of your website will be returned to previous one and it will be rank high in Google again some days later and then your visitors will be increased again.

        Not sure if this helps, but I have a domain that gets 8-15 visitors a day and on basically a daily basis it is added and removed from the google serps. So basically I go from Page 2 on serps for a decent term to gone over and over and over again.

        Not sure why this happens, but I would first check to see if your site is still indexed - if it is, I would let this play out.

      Sorry, I didn't see.

      I think that you have problems with duplicate content.
      I looked with Copyscape and saw that you have quite a few duplicates.

    Is your site a blog? I know of someone who was in the same position as you and ranking well, decided to edit his blog using frontpage, and corrupted his site, causing confusion with the search engines and dropped his website from the page rankings...
