I was stupid. I should've done this way back....

Couple of days ago I added infolinks to some of my sites. Earlier I only had adsense there generating revenue.

I will be quick with info so take it or leave it. My revenue went up 20%

    That's pretty nice.

I think all publishers would do well to test a variety of networks to find out which one pays them best in their respective niches.

The thing is that you just add infolinks to your sites that are already generating revenue with adsense. So far adsense revenue is the same and ctr also so really... no brainer here

I thought it was against the Adsense rules to use another ad publishing network with them? It used to be anyway.

It was at one time but Google figured out that this could get them in legal hot water since they control over so much of online advertising.

To get to the original question...

I don't recommend having more than one type of monetization on a niche site in most cases. I do run tests with this from time to time and I've found it to reduce total earnings from a site most of the time, but not every time. It's always worth a test though.

That is what I was talking about.....too many options

BUT.....adding infoliks didn't "touch" adsense earnings and ctr at all.

AFI : google : adsense and infolinks

It is not against the rules to use other ad publishing networks along with adsense as long as the look of ads is different.

I think that if you make money from Adsense that means you get enough traffic to promote products, and should make money that way as well.

I do that too but not on all sites. Sometimes too many choices is not really a good thing

Yes infolinks and Adsense can be used together on one site but i think infolinks can't make much money. Can you please tell your page views and the money infolinks made for you in one day?

Revenue went up for 20% on both sites...one with a lot more impressions than the other but I see 20% pattern.

Hey Tamar...Interested in avoiding adsense if possible as I've been reading that they aren't necessarily as profitable as one is lead to believe...not familiar with info links...kinda new to this but, am interested in adding a blog to my new site and was hoping you would point me in the right direction...I want to be a quality provider of product(s) and info on the net but with so many b.s.'ers out there was hoping for some assistance....thanks in advance

What is your CPC or CPM rate for info link? Kontera and VibrantMedia are also a good alternative.

Thats a nice tip Although Infolinks ads do not pay as much as AdSense per click, but it is extra money so why not

How do Kontera's payouts compare to Infolinks? In other words is one definitely more profitable than the other? Or some other network like Chitika, etc...
