Surprisingly Low Number Of Google PPC Impressions

Set up a locally targeted campaign for memphis bankruptcy . Coming up checked several sites around town. About 50 phrase keywords and about 5 negative. Only getting about 50 impressions per day? Does this sound right. I know the biggest lawyer ppc lead reseller told me they got about 140 leads a month and that includes a fairly well optimized megasite even if most of of their leads are ppc (Bankruptcy Information and Free Bankruptcy Evaluation by a Lawyer) . So the number of impression if they are getting super high click throughs and conversions makes sense.

Should the impression number really be that low. It also makes split testing very hard. Any comments?

Should I just outsource this? Also my quality scores are all over the place for keywords working off bankruptcy.

what do you have set as your max cpc, your daily spend, as these will also impact on your impressions. / adjust these up if they are low but only within your budget.

It was about 5 per click on most keywords and 16 total I upped it to 33 and changed budget. I've spent $12 so far and got 1 decent lead.

This is the ad that's gotten the most clicks so far. (2 of like 27 impressions)

You are in a super high competitive niche.
50 phrase keywords is a ton.
Use a handful and make sure you choose broad match.
No reason to be all over that map with 50.

How you can only have spent $12 is beyond me. But, if it works,
        so be it.

But that may be the key. You must be going for some really low comp
phrases (exact), which means very low search total.

If you can't up the cash, then you may be stuck with what you have.

If you don't want to go broad, you may be stuck.

You seem to expect lots more impressions. The first answer is that maybe, that's just the number of people searching on your keywords in the geographic area you are targeting. My question is, why are you expecting more? Google's keyword tool will give you a rough estimate.

The second answer has been alluded to by Pete. Say you expect 500 impressions a day and the average cost is $1 and you think you can get a 5% CTR. If your ads were shown 100% of the time, you would expect to spend about $25 a day. But if you set your budget to just $10, you won't show for all those impressions. The system tries to show your ads evenly (depending on settings) and so won't show them if you are close to exhausting your budget (note it's pro-rated over 30 days). If that's the case, you need to increase your budget.
