What do you mean by where is your site in the serp?

Do you mean is it indexed or not? or You want to find on what page your site located for your targeted keyword?

Get the free version of Traffic Travis. I'm sure there are other tools, but that works well for me.

run a search for your site in quotes to see if it is indexed - "yoursite.com"

simply search the keyword/s you're targeting and see where they come up in the SERPs

    Can anyone help?

I just got indexed (woohoo!) and can find my site in google by entering the partial url.
When I search for my main keyword though I get 9 million results lol. I don't know where I stand, or if I even am indexed for that keyword, although my key word density is high and is in the url of most of my articles.

I used the tools mentioned above and am not appearing for my main keyword. How can I tell for sure where I am for that keyword? Can it be done directly from google?

The easiest way to learn which keywords your web pages are ranking for and where your pages rank for those keywords, you can add your website to your Google Webmaster Tools account.

        Hello all,

According to me if you want to get your site in the SERP than promote the site by doing the SEO off page optimization to get backlinks like doing the Article submission
        Directory submission
        Forums posting
        Blogging
        Social book marking

That all will help you to get high PR in the search engine and the promotion that makes place in the SERP's.

        Thanks.......
