I think more than 50 posts per day is not good. If you want to write articles yourself, in natural mode, you can't write more than 20 or something like it, unique articles per day. And search engines only like unique contents. So in my opinion, even one unique post per day is better than hundreds of low quality articles. I suggest you to note only to the quality of articles you are writing, then you will understand what i am saying.

      Ahh.... Another spambot post!

For those humans reading this thread, started by what appears to be a spambot, the answer is obviously 3,578,654,600,217 for optimum performance. If you can not do that many each month just try to get as close as you possible can.

          Hi thegotoguy,

Spambots are designed to mimic humans but since the content posted by these bots is often created by humans there tends to be minimal effort put into that content. Hallmarks are 1 or 2 line questions with keyword anchortext links. It's a dead giveaway when the signature is made up of two similar keywords pointing to the identical URL. While they could be cheap human labor that is mimicking spambot activity, does it make a difference?

There are other signs like never replying to questions or only replying with generic responses that do not address any particular reply within the thread. When you see a member account that has posted nothing but this type of content than you have to conclude that they are not really adding anything of value to the forum, they are just here to get backlinks with the least amount of effort, just enough to prevent having their threads deleted.

I agree with you completely! He still hasn't responded to the post! Or should I say "it still hasn't responded to its post"?

My best advice will be that dont publish lots of post at same time and worst if the site is new, the idea is that google index every of the so you need to give some time to it to go crawl your page several time.

Also you could write the content and then schedule the publishing time so they get online on different periods of time.

  • LOL I love dburk! He calls a spade a spade... or in this case... a spammer a spammer.

Funny though that the guy/bot has yet to be banned.

Yukon... It's not polite to hijack such a high quality thread. You'll get a better response from the community if you start your own thread.
