Targetiing the same keywords on 5 domains hosted on the same server

I have 5 domains that Im targeting the same keywords with. The domains are all hosted on the same server. Does it hurt my SEO efforts having them all on the same server using the same IP address?

Should I be hosting the sites on different servers or does it not make a difference?

    I wonder why you want to target the same keyword for your five domains. I think its not the best strategy. You will exert 5times effort only for one keyword market.

    I think its no problem and you can do it. But if you want to make backlinks for all of these 5 websites from the same places, it can hurts your ranking.
