Adsense ads Forum or Blog or ?

Hello,

I have a block of domain all related to car racing and travel. I plan on setting these up in a blog format using adsense to hopefully bring in a few extra bucks. These blogs would be my own from travels to various races around the world. I do this now with some collector cars site I won and make 10-15 dollars a month. Not much but a profit.

My friend is telling me I should set up a forum site with my interested; IE food drink and racing and allow others to post there favorites places of interest. For example have a forum related to the Lemans race and where to eat drink and rest around this area. Ads from google I assume would hit on the travel industy bars rental cars etc.

What are your thoughts BLOG with my interested or Forum with the worlds interest. I think my buddy is on to something and could allow adsense to actually make me some money.

    I have some forums setup that have moderators and run themselves. It took time to get them going, but they pretty much run themselves now. It can be done, but definitely some work to get it going.

    Forum needs a lot of working specially at the first months you created it. You should find articles, members ( its the most difficult part in my opinion ), manage users, posts and like this works. But blogging and moderating it, is very easier. You can manage a blog by working 2 hours a day but forum managing needs much more time. However if you can manage forum, its better than having blog. Its my idea.

      Blogging is alot less work and the learning curve is less steep.
      You could probably earn just as much money either way.
