The only way is following their tips for submitting your links. Also note that approving in Dmoz can takes even one year. So don't expect fast approval by them.

Probably you are not following their tools. Two things you shoulk keep in mind when you submit your link in dmoz. One is you must have to choose the best and again I'm saying the best category and subcategory and again subcategory that best suit your link. The second is once you submit your link wait 2 or 3 month as dmoz everyday get thousands of link adding request.Dont submit it again and again otherwise they will reject your link permanently.

You are your own worst enemy!

How do you think any directory (not just DMOZ) should treat those who are incapable of following the guidelines that they agree to have read and understood. Why did you submit more than once for?

You may have been tagged as a spammer.

Evert time you resubmit, your submission just overwrites the previous one with the new date, so you just moved your site back to the bottom!!!

As you have already submitted there is nothing more you can do except hope you were not tagged as a spammer.

Generally, its submit ONCE to the ONE best category ... then move on. There is nothing more you can do. Anything more than that is going to count against you. Spend your energy and time on doing something else.

I think it's nearly impossible to be listed in DMOZ. It's better to just buy an expired domain that's already been listed.

The only way I know for sure to get listed into DMOZ is to apply to become an editor in your niche. Once you get approved then submit your site and approve it yourself.

Otherwise you can just submit your site and IF you do Everything right they MAY get around to it.

For starters your site should have no ads on it and lots of useful content.

Or know an editor in your niche...

Submit your site to an appropriate category. Most sites under Dmoz refused on grounds of having submitted false or wrong categories, then you have to find the most appropriate category for your site before sending it to Dmoz.

Another load of absolute nonsense in this thread. Where are you getting this from? If you submit to the wrong category, the editors will simply move you to the right one. Why are you making this up for?

Only a small percentage of websites are approved into the dmoz directory. I would definitely not submit your listing over and over. Just make sure you put effort into your listing and really just hope they accept it

Submit site to two different categories with different editors- then forget it.

Chances are you will never get listed. Spend your time getting other links. If your site's prospects are worth it, consider a submission to the Yahoo Directory for $299/yr.
