Slow linkbuilding

So I just hired a VA to write articles and build links for me. We are at the linkbuilding stage for one of my affiliate sites. This is my first full blown affiliate site that I have built. However, it seems the process is rather slow. She is blog commenting to get backlinks. The first rule I told her was to NOT SPAM. I told her that she had to at least skim the articles and provide value in her comments. But she is doing at most 15-20 links at a day on blogs....and about 60-60% of them have to go through moderation. And the ones that go through moderation, a lot of them aren't approved because the some of the sites have been long abandoned. So all in all, she gets about 5 actual links a day. So what can I do to speed up this linkbuilding process? She said a lot of time is taken to read the articles...I told her to just skim it. I hate spam so I won't ever allow her to not read the article and just comment "thanks for that informative post." So any tips on how to automate and streamline this linkbuilding process so I can get more backlinks?

    Get her to first verify that the blogs she comments on are having comments regularly approved before reading the article and commenting (by checking previous comments), so that approval rate is enhanced.

    Also diversify your link building to include for example commenting on high pr and high traffic forums etc which in most cases is faster being auto-approved.

    have her read first paragraph, bolded sentences, bullet points, and last paragraph only. If she cant cut more than 20 backlinks in a day, then she is wasting your time/money and you should look for someone else

    You might want to look into buying SENuke and hiring someone to write spinable articles

    Also, if she is reading on the same niche, she should be able to make a good comment pretty quickly.

    Yeah she is writing my articles and about to spin them and submit them to article directories. Her articles are amazing but her linkbuilding is rather slow. I might just hire a fulltime linkbuilder. How many links should she be building within 8 hours time?

    if you want to get more backlinks then you have to do forum posting, forums are the good source of backlinks

    If her website is new, about 10 backlinks per day is good enough. However she is wasting her time by making a lot of links daily and approving some of them. I think she should do link building more carefully. In this case she can make about 10 backlinks daily with at most two hours of working every day and in this in my opinion, automated software is not needed.
