BIG Backlink Thread

I was searching Warrior Forum for threads on backlinks and failed to find anything notable (maybe I just suck at searching lol), so I decided to create a new thread where all the warriors could share their backlinking strategies and sites. We all know that variation in backlinking is crucial and there can never be too many backlinks, so I think every warrior will benefit from this thread

I will start with some methods I use:



  • Social bookmarking (digg, reddit, delicio.us, etc...) manually or via tools like SENuke, onlywire, bookmarking demon or others.

  • Manual forum profile backlinks.


That's it for now, I will share some more later if something notable pops in mind.

I invite other warriors to contribute as well.

    Submitting articles to article directories/sites is good for links and traffic but can be even better if you can submit content to another website or blog and get it published with a link back to your site.

    Anyone remember about contacting other website owners and asking for a link? You might not get many but it can be very powerful

    One very simple tip that's helped me in the past is searching for (keyword or topic)+ "powered by WordPress" to help find related sites. You can do the same with topic-based forums, such as "powered by phpBB." Most of them will probably be nofollow, but they'll help flesh out your link list (and may tell you more about your target audience).

    Of course we shouldn't forget forum signatures.

    Google search: niche+forum, register, post, add a sig link.

    NOTE: This works best for smaller niches where spamming is not common, if you will try this for a big bodybuilding or weight loss forum, expect to get burned/banned.
