Hello everyone,

Hope you are doing great.

Say, i want to be in top 10 results of all the major Search Engines for the keyword "pain relief". If "painrelief.com"; "painrelief.net" and "painrelief.org" are taken, then which one at below would be better for SEO?

  1. Using hyphen like pain-relief.com Or,
  2. Using a prefix or suffix with the kW like below:
  • yourpainrelief.com
  • painreliefinfo.com
I am a bit confused about this and it is causing me problems for buying domains.

A little help in this regard will help me a lot

Selecting domain name as prefix or suffix would be more good rather than having hypen in it , because having hypen have less SEO value. Whatever domain you choose have keyword phrase in it, as this will be quite helpful in terms of SEO.

I think using prefix and suffix (including keywords) is best option to choose domain. It will be the more value.

I have the definite answer on this. I have put in tens of thousands of hours in testing this and other related factors. You should NOT use a hyphen. You should NOT use a prefix. You can use a suffix for the best effect. If you can not have the exact match then it is ALWAYS better (SEO wise) to have the exact term at the beginning of your domain name.

having only one dash would not be too bad for SEO but having too many dashes is another story.
