Public Ads Showing Up on My Blogs - Need Big Help

Hi Guys! I think I screwed up a bit. I really, really need your HELP.

Two weeks ago I made major internal changes on the seven blogs I mentioned here: warriorforum.com/adsense-ppc-seo-discussion-forum/289506-problems-optimizing-blogger-blogs-need-help.html#post2892867

It was actually my first time modifying blogger's internal structure and I also installed new Google Analytics code to all the blogs. (There's already old GA codes installed but I removed them.)

I created a new GA account because I have no admin access to the old account. After that, I installed the new GA codes.

The day after that, all the Adsense ads on all 7 blogs turned to Public Service Ads. Our director was confused and he's asking me why the Adsense target advertisement set up suddenly screwed up.

Please give me some advices on what to do. Thank you sooo much. (:

    Hi Empress_Of_Drac,

First, don't publish your AdSense website addresses on a forum like this. It tends to send a flood of poorly targeted traffic, which is not good for advertisers.

Second, your websites are loaded with all kinds of invalid code. It isn't a requirement that you code be 100% valid, but invalid code could create problems for search engine bots. Clean you code a bit to eliminate that as a potential cause of your problem.

I didn't look at all your blogs but I didn't see a privacy policy page or advertising disclosures for the sites I did. Those are violations of AdSense program policies as well as FTC regulations.

AdSense publishers must have and abide by a privacy policy that discloses that third parties may be placing and reading cookies on your users' browsers, or using web beacons to collect information as a result of ad serving on your website.

Thank you so much for the quick response. Yes, I did some reading a while ago and found out that all blogs have no privacy policy page. I will create this page immediately.

On the other hand, can you be more specific with the invalid codes you're referring too? I don't put too much code on the blogs except those script for additional plugins like FBLike codes. Thanks. (:

        Hi Empress_Of_Drac,

You check the validity of your code here:

Hi Don. I just run a check and below is the result.

          189 Errors, 138 warning(s) - Travel blog

I tried checking other blogs and websites too, and they also have lots of error. I'm not so techy but what causes all these errors?

Thanks a lot for this tool. I'll be checking and studying all these errors from now on. But do I have to validate all those so that PSAs will stop showing on my blogs? Thanks, Don.

            Hi Empress_Of_Drac,

Your web page code does not have to be completely valid code. Search engines can usually read your pages fine, even with all of those errors. However, usually doesn't mean always. Sometimes invalid code can prevent a search engine bot from successfully crawling or reading your web page, depending on the the errors. It's best to try to write code that is valid, and if there is invalid code, keep it to a minimum.
