Hi, hope to share some info from what I understand...

1)first when you say "profit from Google" you mean Ad sense codes?
2)500-600 visitors a day is not a few (are they unique, how did you check them?). FYI, that is a pretty solid number to convert into leads on your opt-in, clicking on banners, or forward into affiliate offers. that is a pretty cool number to work with!
3)You can outsource your bog commenting to a VA so he will do it for you (use elance or any other outsourcing websites)

This is especially cool if you do have unique and quality traffic (which sounds like you do)

4)now I would recommend to check analytics for your blog. how long do they read the articles, how many of them do they read.
maybe if you'll change the position of the ad sense code you will get more clicks, hence more revenue. this is the type of matters that never stops (optimization for monetization)

hope this helps get your ideas rolling...

Thanks alot for your fast reply .

for the first question yes i use google adsense on my blog in addition to Infolinks which give me about 50$ every 3-4 months , and recenly i just started using konetra since 3 day.
i keep changing the position and the colors of the adsense ad but the same thing happens low CTR (0.1%)
for the second question , the visitors is unique visitors and about half of them come from google search . and my page views pas day about 2000-2300 page/day

i have tried using afflitate links for books for two months but i gained nothing.. so i decided to remove it ,,, but for the cpa leads i never tried it because they keep telling the cpa leads has a harm effect on blog ranking .. and for the visitors them selves if they find i site which ask for a form to fill or a survey to complete they will just close the site ..

but the thing i didnt understand from your post what is blog outsourcing it is the first time i hear that ? im sorry for my silly questions but im just a beginner ...

      thanks again

I meant that if you want to talk about this niche on other blogs and by this market your blog, you can hire a VA to help you with this. he can post replies instead of you.
(only if you want, and only if you can spare 50-150$ for it).

        Good answers below also

The situation of your blog is not too bad as you think. As you said it has about 2000-2300 pageviews per day. I suggest you to write some articles and submit them to article directories. also its good if you join some related forums to your niche and write there. It can help you too. And my suggestion about making backlinks, is making backlinks only from quality websites without attention to the quantity of them.

The reason your earnings are low could also be the nature of your traffic.
Some traffic and search terms simply bring in people who are disinterested in clicking ads.

Good suggestion. Here's what I'm doing. I'm expanding my site (writing more pages obviously) and the pages I write, I put them on article directories and web 2.0 props. One particular is Hubpages where they have revenue sharing, so I get clicks not only on my site, but also at Hubpages.

Another example came yesterday. I had an article posted on GoArticles - they clicked through and clicked on my G ads.

Bottom line: Once you get your pages indexed from your main site - throw them on an article directory (except for Hubpages - they accept only unique content).

Usually this is a result of the quality of traffic you are attracting. Based on the keywords people are typing into the search engines, can you determine if they are money-keywords?

For example, if you are getting hundreds of visitors from people typing "free SEO advice", you will get a bunch of freeby-seekers. If you are gaining hundreds of visitors from people typing "best paid SEO service" you will get a lot more sales because you are attracting the people that already have their credit cards out.

Think about how this relates to your blog and what kind of visitors you need.

Let me give you one of the biggest hints with what you have already been making money (Adsense). I say this because I realize that to change your monetization method you may need to rewrite your existing pages and that may be a bigger art.

Also, going by what you said, this business is not your full time income. Just guessing, because with $3 a day you are not making a living full-time and that means you are making a living in a different way. That does not mean I am not encouraging you - that means, I am sasying you have the liberty to scale in a way (like I did in my own case, making the best of the "independence" that my full-time job provided in the sense that I could do my experiments without worrying about how to I earn my lunch for tomorrow). I hope you understand where I am coming from.

        So, do this.

Take a couple of pages in which you have a decent amount of visitors.
Play with the following parameters of your Adsense:
        (1) Ad colors.
        (2) Ad placement on your page - I mean the location of the ads on your page.
        (3) Nature of ads - text/graphics/both.

That's going to improve your income once you hit the right optimum.

        Then do the following.

Head over to Google Adwords keyword tool and see (using [exact match] option) which are the relevant keywords in your domain to receive sufficient number of searches, and also have a decent CPC. If you don't already have a blog post on these keywords, create them and place ads accordingly. That's going to shoot up your income even more. If you already have these pages then you may actually start right your ad color/position/placement experiment right from these pages.

I hope doing all the above will help you a lot.

Having 500 unique visitors a day is actually a good number. It's already a huge traffic. Earning $3 a day for a blogspot blog is fine since adsense is not that lucrative compared in the past years. But having a blogspot blog is a good start though.

I also have this problem. I have some wallpaper sites and I gets tons of traffic and some days might have 20 clicks but only earn 25 cents and I understand its cause they are wallpaper sites and google really doesn't like them but I do have some nice google ads displayed and some days get a 2 or 3 dollar click. Makes it worth it

What I have found to work best with Adsense is product-based sites. When people are looking for information, they are much less likely to click on ads. When people are looking for products, and you offer information, the adds that offer the products are much more likely to grab their attention and their clicks. That is not to say that people do not click when they are looking for information. You have proved that by earning a consistant $2-3 per day. If you earn that with 500 visitors, you can earn $20-30 per day with 5000 visitors. You obviously know how to get traffic. Would you consider repeating the process with something that is more products-based? If not, are you willing to keep working at your blog until it gets 5,000 visitors? You have already shown that you can succeed in getting traffic. Now, the trick is to use that skill in a way that you are comfortable with that makes you the most money.

I don't do much with blogs, myself. I work mainly with websites. So far this month, I have just over 10,000 page impressions and have earned well over $500. That is what product based sites can do for you if you find the right niches. What works for me, though, won't neccessarily work for you, and what works for you won't neccessarily work for me.

Good luck. You already have me beat by far on daily traffic.

It depends no the market sometimes.

I have a site getting 1000 hits a day from SEO.

Sometimes it makes less than 1 sale a week.

I have another site that get's 250 hits a day, it makes a sale everyday.

It just depends on the market sometimes.

That sounds like a lot of work for $3 a day. Really similar to my youtube channel that gets 1200 views a day, with a really low ctr.

I think in both cases, the end user is not interested in ads and more into the content.

Just think how annoying it is watching tv and and having an ad banner running down the side or bottom of the screen.

$3 a day is better than nothing. Just work at tweaking what you have working for you and you should see an increase in dollars.
