hello there, if you use Mozilla Firefox there is a great add-on called Seo Book and Rank Checker. These two add-ons are free and will tell you how many back links you have and what sites they are on.

    Best of luck,
    Justin

      Backlinks don't have page rank.

      Pages have page rank.

And in the case of the example you give, you'd check that from the url of the page on which your article appears, for example by using either of the methods mentioned above.

Page rank is not the "be all and end all", you know? Other factors affect the value of your backlink. Including the number of backlinks on the page (which is the case of an EZA article is rather high, as you've doubtless noticed!).

Your "Backlink" has no Page Rank, per se, but the page from which you are liked has the page rank. You get a "DO FOLLOW" backlink, and your own website's Page rank will improve. If it's "NO FOLLOW" you won't get any 'link juice'.

The suggestions of the previous posters should be followed. You use the plug-ins to measure the Page Rank of the website you have the link on.

Page rank is usually updated every quarter (3 months).

I check them manually. Its the best way. Install Google toolbar on your Firefox and go to your backlinks.

Agree. Use either SEO Spyglass or Scrapebox. It will query multiple search engines for you and shows you all kinds of nifty stuff about your backlinks and the PR of the pages they are on.

If you got just want to check your page rank for that one site you can install the SEOQuake toolbar/plugin/addon/blah/whatever for your browser. Its supports most of the major browsers and isn't too slow. If got some cash to spend and want to pick up a full-service keyword tool you should look into Market Samurai.

Its the best keyword tool by far (I have them all) and its still just in Beta. If you are just looking for something to check the PR of a TON of URLs you should look into getting ScrapeBox. Its really the best thing out there for this and its cost is more than reasonable.

A simple search query for either ScrapeBox or Market Samurai will easily lead you to their sites. Now, I could be wrong but they may just be scrapebox.com and marketsamurai.com

    Best of luck.
