Learning/Teaching idea for the Warriors for new year

As a beginner SEO guy, I'm constantly learning and working through the differing opinions on these forums - you know, backlinks from forum profiles are great, see what Angela did! versus backlinks from forum profiles are next to worthless.
The list could go ON!

My idea would be this - one of the warriors track *exactly* what he does in setting up and getting ranked a new website (perhaps for adsense income) and documents it here. From keyword research, to setting up the page, to the specific tasks he performs to get it crawled, listed, backlinks, etc.

My request would be whoever took on this task take the time to do a complete, if elementary, breakdown. For example, there are FAR too many posts here where people say "You're not optimizing your SEO on your page or H1". Sorry, criticizing something without explaining the WHY is next to useless.

Again, a humble request. I'd actually like a (free) book showing this, but a thread would do well for everyone and be a potential product for the creator later!

    I think it is a great idea, except for the person with the success strory and track record to go with to lay out their entire strategy for the world to see. I understand what you are saying, and it is been my experience to take advice from only those with the fruit on the tree. Find a warrior that has that, then listen to them and them only.

      Success stories are fine.

      Everybody has 10 favorite things. Problems is, only 1 will work for you.

      There is no panacea. There are basic things, which everyone here agrees
      on. There are also things we know and don't tell.

      I love seeing success stories, along with a few tips or tricks. But what
      one person did, step by step, is not normally going to help the next
      guy if he does the same steps. Too many people come here, swearing
      up and down that they did the correct steps and just know google is
      screwing them.

      So, bring on the success stories, but go very light on details.

      Actually, most senior members here already go light on details.
      For good reason.

    search for "search engine starter guide" in google. read the pdf and you'll learn good basic info from Big G why you need to optimize your site.
