I hered a rumor:
that search Search engines are implementing as of recently and from here forward - by 2010 requiring - localized keywords. Generic terms have high search volume and millions of competition (there are many competing sites), however, their value remains low (untargeted leads). Specific phrases with localization give you exceptionally high value as well as well targeted leads. It is quality versus quantity. With a generic term yes you may receive more hits or traffic, but is it the right type of traffic you are looking for or wanting for your business.
