Why EzineArticles can place their adsense ads more 3 without banned?

Anyone has any ideas why?

    They have a premium adsense account which they generate around $70,000 a week with from displayed articles. I questioned the ads once i took notice of them but its ultimately the only way the site is free for regular users.

    Its not about being banned or anything but rather that they get so many clicks and are seen as a benefit to google adwords publishers so they are able to display more ads on a single page.

    They use AdSense API to generate custom ad blocks.
