Nope, it's not. Firstly, forums require BBC not HTML. So to have an anchor text link you'd need to do:

    [ URL=http://www.example.org ] anchor text [/url ]

    With the spaces removed.

Also as an FYI, the HTML you put is invalid. This is for two reasons:

    1) The URL points to http://www.surveyandamovie.com%e2%80%9d/ and not http://www.surveyandamovie.com

    2) ” is an invalid character for HTML tags (avoid Microsoft Word like the plague when typing up HTML ). Use " instead.

If you use the wysiwyg editor you can easily edit your and add a link by using the link button. That way you wont have to mess with BBC or html codes. At least that's the way I do it.

Yes. It will be counted as backlinks. Most forums don't allow HTML codes and when you use BB code, its still backlink.

Sticking with this thread I have a follow on question, will each and every post you make therefor count as a backlink or will only one from the same site count.

Meaning if I had 500 posts on warrior forum would I get 500 backlinks or just the one because all of them are from warrior forum.

Hope you understand what I mean.
