Need Advice on Article Marketing

I am pretty new to article marketing. Would like some advice from the experts here on how to do article marketing.

Should I be putting my author name in the resource box?

If I were to post an article in Ezinearticles and later I decide to send the same article to a distribution service, will the articles be under the same author name or somebody else's?

Put your author name in the author name box, leave the resource box for anchor-text links to your site.

You can usually squeeze 2x anchor-text links in the resource box per article you write. But make it sound natural, something like will work fine:

Thanks for reading my article on article marketing. You can use article marketing as a great link building technique.

You should write or spin articles so that each article you submit is unique. Even when submitting to multiple directories you should always submit unique content.

The resource box is for writing one or two lines. And all webmasters use it for writing something about the article with pouting to their website as a link with the anchor text they want to optimize their website for.

Some article directories will allow you to have your resource box be fluid with your article itself. For these directories, try not to have your resource box feel "separate" from the article. Try to incorporate the resource box into the article itself, and this will increase traffic because people will be more likely to read the resource box rather than skip over it.

Make your article titles keyword-rich because you'll often find articles you wrote ranking quicker than your actual money site, and this will also help boost traffic in the beginning stages.

I don't consider myself as an "expert" article marketer, but rather just someone with relevant experience and one who constantly study results from relevant tests I formulate myself. First off, I observe better CTRs from resource boxes written this way, though this is a case to case basis, mind you, for every niche/keyword/etc.: Going to DomainHere and reading this Nov 2010 report about (keyword-anchored link here pointing to a page of my site offering useful and updated supplementary info/advice/content with relevant benefits not found on my article) will improve your chances of gaining beneficial results related to (keyword-anchored link here pointing to another content page of my site offering updated and useful supplementary info/advice/content with relevant benefits not found on my article). Yes, than a resource box written this way: Marx Melencio is a long time author of (keyword-anchored link here) and offers more updated information and advice about topics related to (keyword-anchored link here) on his DomainHere site.

For your next question: You can publish the exact same article on other article directories and even on other types of sites provided it is under the same author name as the author name you used where you published it first. There is no duplicate content here, only content syndication done by the author, you. I recommend changing the titles a bit as well as the first few paragraphs as well as the last paragraph of your article. Doing this could usually prevent your article on an article directory that ranks lower than other article directories where your article is also found from being included in the supplementary results list.

But if I were to send my article to an article distribution service, it would then be under a different author name right?

Not like that. As you are the author of this article, if anyone want to republish it they should keep your author information on the same article. So it again comes under your name only.

The most accurate answer to your question can only be given by the customer support team of the distribution service provider you want to use. If they submit the exact same article of yours using different author names on different article directories, which I doubt they would since I'm sure they know the article directories will think it's an article that has been copied by another author and submitted as his own, you can ask them if they could submit your exact same article under the same author name throughout all article directories in their distribution list. If they can't do that for you, you're most likely better off with a different article distribution service provider.
