AdSense for domains - how much money can you make with it?

How much money do you make with AdSense for domains? For example if you have around 1k unique visitors daily?

What do you think is better -AdSense for domains or a small landingspage with affiliate banners and adsense banners?

    I ran AsfD on 3 of my domains for 2 months - nothing! A few clicks, but nil income.

    My small homebrew parking pages get some income, not much but enough to pay for the domains renewal and hosting...

    well with the parked domains i dont think its a very potential advertising way but you can work on the domains which can actually works.

      Some people here tout parked domains. I think they need some type of
      history behind them. But whenever I get a parked domain in a search,
      I hate it. I can't stand seeing a bunch of ads and just surf away.

      Seems to me you need a boat load of traffic from mindless visitors
      who don't know what they are actually seeing.

      I would rather put some type of content on it and develop it a little.

    It depends where the bulk of that 1000 unique a day traffic comes from.

    If it's from Google it won't last long because Google automatically deindexes sites that use Adsense for Domains.

    If it's purchased traffic, you can count on either not making any money or being banned from Adsense if it does.

    If it's residual traffic from other sources, you might make a $1 or so a day, depending on the keywords.

    I've got about 20 domains on Adsense for Domains right now. They make maybe $5 a month and the traffic level is low. I kind of consider it a domain graveyard for domains that I'm not going to renew. It does earn better than the GoDaddy Cash Parking option though.

    I'd prefer to have a built out site of 100+ pages targeting various related long tail terms but just 10 or so pages would be a good start.

    Note that the Google search quality team will deindex sites that look like a parking page when they visually review them. Will your site get such a review? Who knows? It may escape for years but it may get flagged immediately. Do ya feel lucky?

      Whenever I reply to these threads I just give my opinion as to what I do when I
      see a parked domain. It was great to read at least a little analysis of someone
      who has them.
