Blasting backlinks once a month?

I am building backlinks and my site is ranking good, however I was considering paying for backlinks packages where they blast your site once a month. But doesn't google look at the consistency as well? Is this a good way to end up in the sandbox?

Depends on the types of links they are offering....Most likely they will be blasting using Scrapebox and using lower to higher PR links so Google will find a few each day on the lower PR links and quicker on the higher pr links.

I know I blasted a site using Scrapebox using PR2 - PR7 backlinks and I see a few appearing everyday using the yahoo site explorer.

Most likely they are using drip fed system which blast out little blast everyday.

Google does check for consistency but you have to rememeber that Google won't be finding all those links all at once unlesss you shove them in it's face. (not recommended)

If your site is ranking good, and you're happy with its ranking, then I would suggest letting it be. If something changes... Then start back up with the backlinks.

Getting to the #1 2 3 spot can be tough, but keeping it is not.

This could be quite dangerous, especially for sites younger than 3 years old.

I got a bad experience last month: made ~75 posts with links (relevant forums, relevant threads, everything ethic), and in a few days a traffic dropped by 20%.
And this was for an old site, 8 years old, and it was only 75 links. Google gets tough here.

Lots of links are always good, especially when they are high quality and permanent. If getting a flood of links was really that bad I would be signing up my competitors with every mass linking service out there.

Just be careful that you are using your time wisely. When looking for backlinking packages, just remember to go for one that is ongoing each month, I have bought once-off bulk link packages before and they have helped me rank for a couple of months but then my rankings slipped back down as Google saw that my backlinks were not coming in so fast anymore.

Google ALWAYS considers quality over quantity so I would suggest checking the actual quality of the backlinks (ie; diversity, Page Rank, domain age, page age, contextual, domain extention, + probably 100s more factors).

Don't sign up for a service based on a number, that is like walking a tightrope blindfolded.

If your strategy is Profile Backlink make sure you should not focus on a Do Follow sites rather you should also to find a Higher Page Rank so that your site will get more backlinks..
