Blog commenting results

Hi,
I am doing blog commenting. It is the hardest form of SEO I have ever done as I have to read the content before making relevant comment with either anchor tag or hyperlink of my site in it at appropriate position. Most if the blogs have 0 or no PR as there are not many good PR pages with comment option in my niche. I want to know wether blog commenting will help in google rankings. I am doing article, pr, forum, blog posts etc. along with it too.

Has anyone done blog commenting? any results from it?
Any advice to improve my technique?

Also there will always be many links to original publisher in the content where I am commenting, so will my single back-link in comment count among those highly placed links to original publisher even if I comment relevant comment only on relevant pages?

Also does it have long term SEO value like articles, blog posts etc.?

I'm doing blog commenting too to my website. I don't think it will bring much effect if you didn't hit blog with high PR. I pay someone on fiverr to get backlink for my site. My alexa rank got below 1000k in a week. I don't know if this has anything to do with this service from Fiverr. But I think it worths it.

Hi! could you post a link to this fiverr offer? Or keyword you use to find it and some details to be able identify it.

      Thanks!

Based on the feedback there, people are happy with how fast the guy works. However, it's hard to determine how many of them are actually getting an of the intended value from the service. The negative posts are more telling than the positive ones. I didn't find any positives that say something like, "I got 200 backlinks in xx days!" They all say how fast the guy said he completed the work. Personally, I'd rather he take a full week if it means 80% or more of the links actually take hold. Posting a bunch of links in an hour or three that only result in 1% actually working isn't very helpful.

Yes I saw the site in detail and other similar sites too. I think this one fiverr.com is the leading one by a big margin. I wish I had started this business first.

            anyways.

Why except to get 200 quality backlinks for just $4 ($1 is deducted by the site). I am in India and I employ computer engineers at the same salary of sweepers, labors. still it costs me $10 to get high quality 50-60 backlinks.

As someone who runs a blog (er, maybe more than that LOL), I hate with a passion the "Great site, wonderful author, beautiful pictures" comments looking for some link love. I guess that could be what you're buying when you buy thousands of links for $5.

I always delete these comments; truthfully, if there are more than a few comments awaiting moderation, I generally delete the whole lot without reading them because 99.9% of them are spam.

I'd always recommend going for quality, selecting the blogs carefully and writing the comments yourself. Sure, it's going to take longer but it's got a higher chance of being SEO-friendly linking - and that's what you're really after.

                  - determined spammers will even go to the effort of inputting captcha codes; it does eliminate some of the comments though.

I think you will find that most professional Scrapebox spammers target websites whos comments aren't moderated.

Try to use Scrapebox. Otherwise you need to familiar with footprints of blogs to collect High PR pages. You must filter out SPAMMED pages to get the full benefit. So keep your eye with OBL of the blog page. Don't put comments in pages with PR N/A (Not PR 0)

I will try this SEO form too. I think that it would work if you post comments on blogs that have good content, are well looking and get many visitors.

believe me it is the hardest. and also you cannot outsource it to any cheap (and hence crappy) SEO freelancer (read as expert) as results will be the worst you can think of.

Now I dedicate most of my time building links from article and forum posting, blog comment links are great but I agree with you it's the hardest (especially if you're trying to get them from .edu/.gov blogs) and if you do it yourself like me it will consume too much time.

there are two ways to do blog commenting effectively:

          1. use a spamming solution and post 2K comments a day. You need a dedicated server for this as the soft has to be hosted and eats resources like the cookie monster. I don´t use it. This is only for backlinks count.

          2. get a google alert in your niche or do some research, and post only in high pr blogs that are making noise. This will bring quality back links and traffic if you have juice. This is working nicely for me. It works for pr and for traffic.

Blog commenting is the same as any other Internet marketing technique for backlinks. But I do agree try to comment on popular blogs in your niche with your anchor tags in the name field if it is feasible.

I always look at the other comments and if they have for example John @ Make money online blog I know the blog master will accept anchor tags in the comments. If it is all just names usually its for a reason just put your name in the name field without the anchor tags this way you know your comment will get accepted.

You will be surprised at the traffic you can get from posting good thought out comments on popular blogs. Stick with it it pays off!

I used blog commenting almost exclusively for my money site and I was able to reach Top 10 in just a few weeks. Granted, I spent most of my day finding PR5+ dofollow blogs and commenting on them, but the results definitely showed. Blog commenting ain't dead.

(Caveat: my money site is in a really non-competitive niche. I can't vouch for all you "make money online" folks.)

    Hi,
I plan to outsource blog commenting. As you all know, when we do comment, it has to be approved by the site owner. If I outsource someone to comment on different blogs, how will I check on her that she is doing her work? How do I pay her? per hour? per project? per number of blog posted? I would appreciate your ideas.

Brad here. I feel your pain. I have tried blog commenting for several months. It isn't that results don't come - it is just as you say - time is a big factor in getting comments posted so that results come back.

You might want to check out DirectorMaximizerdot com and see if they can help you get some back links at least as quickly as forum marketing would. If SEO is a challenge for your site - their work might be useful. I wrote an article on their work at 14 cents a link - you can't beat the cost.

That is just $5 for 35 links. They will also look at the relevancy and reduce redundancy and duplication.

My suggestion is to continue blog posting - but expect the major benefit to be the learning you get. In the general opinion there are better ways to jack up the SEO for your program.

Best of luck - cheers !

Does blog commenting work? Yes if you do it properly.

Commenting on PR0, barely visited blogs isn't gonna be worth your while. Especially if you are taking all this time out to do comments the way they should be done.

Get yourself Scrapebox and learn how to use it. I AM NOT condoning spamming, but you can use it to find relevant, highly visited blogs, with high pagerank. Heck, you can even narrow it down to DoFollow highly relevant dofollow blogs as well.

If you want to see effects on blog commenting, then your comment must come from a post with your targeted and related keywords - preferably already ranked.

It about the relevancy of the topic.

If you are doing manual commenting, go for blogs that already ranked top 10 to 20 for your targeted keyword and you'll see instant impact.

I suggest instead of going to 100's of blogs & commenting. Its good to select about 10-20 blogs of your niche and which allows do follow links. You can then start commenting on those blogs frequently. If you do it this way it will certainly help in your SEO efforts.

Outsourcing is the only solution for blog commenting but we need to make sure that the guy can do quality job. Blog commenting is the most time consuming job of all forms of linkbuilding exercises. I prefer press release and automated blog commenting.

Hi Friends Dofollow blog commenting really work specially if you are posting on high PR pages. You should be slow and steady in blog commenting.Massive back linking could penalize your website.
