can anybody tell me what is best to use for SEO:

http before domain
or
www before domain

I understand this change can be made on Google admin tools.

Any thoughts appreciated!

    Neither is better or worse for SEO. What matters is that you choose one and stick to it, so that your link authority isn't split between two URLs.

    Pick whichever you're most comfortable with. I like my sites without the www, but that's just me.

    Do you mean with or without www? Everything should have http://
