Can you have too many interlinks between your own site pages?

I just stumbled upon a WordPress plugin that automatically creates links between your site pages based on keywords you specify. Looks pretty neat, but I am wondering if there is some reason not to have *too many* links between your own site pages?

    You must interlink your site pages it will add value to both pages but it shouldn't be used excessively like you can set it 2 links.
