I think i had a bad headline for what i needed so here we go again

He SEOing Warriors,

Ok Ill give information for those who would like another step in backlinking and then I have question

First off, RSS really is great for SEO just because it great for the indexing of your backlinks in the google (or any other search engine) SERPS

Its not enough to just make the backlinks, you also have to index them in order to count as a backlink towards your site in the SERP. So understand SEO is backlinking AND indexing.

Ive found the best way to index my links are pinging, social bookmarking, and RSS Submission. Ill tell you how I do my RSS then Ill ask my question

First thing I do is create a major RSS feed out of all my RSS feeds with yahoo pipes. Then I submit my site so about 25 RSS Aggregators and then use feedburner and submit them to the sites again for a total of 50 RSS submissions.

The beauty of using yahoo pipes is that when you get a new RSS feed, you can just add it to the pipe and essentially that will add that feed to the other 50 sites. This is all pretty regular SEO but im sure newbies will appreciate the information, once again this is great for indexing not really backlinks as the feed mashers (yahoo pipes and feedburner) have no follow feeds.

OK THE QUESTIONS

1.) is that enough RSS aggregator submissions (50) or should I remash and submit more as part of a daily regimen?

2.) Should I be pinging my yahoo pipe when I add a new RSS feed to it? Like have any of you seen that matters?

2.) do any of you know of a do-follow rss feed masher that will count for backlinks?

Hope I helped others but really im the one who needs help. Thank you

Whenever it comes to seo, there is no such thing as "enough". You just do as much as you can. Honestly, I don't spend too much time with rss but its not a bad idea. Just make sure that you are not wasting time with so many different rss tasks.

    Very true,
RSS are very good options for getting links to the website. Regarding your queries,
    1. I think you should stick to the current procedure as it would look spammy if you do more submissions.
    2. Yes, I think you should always ping after submitting the rss file to the websites so as to inform the search engines about your activity.
    3. Sorry

Just to be clear - "Follow" & "NoFollow" tags do not matter... A link is a link You want your linking to be natural first of all... And secondly, there is still a very good chance that Yahoo will count a NoFollow link to your site regardless.

    Anyway...

I am not much of an RSS feed person, because I haven't been too educated on it, so I appreciate your input. I found it helpful, and I appreciate everyone else's input as well.

    Rock on!
