I did a search for any reviews on the warrior forums.. I did not find much .. but wanted to get an updated opinion. I know they have added a few new features. Does anyone in here use this?

99$ month seems steep.

@Mike305 - I agree, SEOMoz Pro doesn't get much play at all on this forum. Neither does Raven Tools and some of the other popular SEO software.

About your question, I've got an SEOMoz account myself.

They've got some really good e-books and training that I like. (Not really worth sticking around longer than a month though if you just want those.)

If you need software to analyze other website's backlinks often, it's arguably the best tool out there (along with SEO Majestic). It makes finding backlink opportunities in your niche really easy.

But again, unless you're doing client work and working in a lot of different niches you won't need to use this very often.

There are a few other tools that are nice like a rank checker (which can be found a lot of other places) and also a nice crawl test tool that you can use once per day for free.

There's a QA feature which is cool. Also, YouMoz is a good opportunity to potentially be featured on their main blog which is great exposure.

My main gripe with SEOMoz tools is that there's a lot of "reports" but there aren't really any tools in there that make doing the actual work easier.

If you have a few SEO clients your probably better off spending your money on Raven SEO Tools. There's a lot more actionable tools there - like monthly reports that you can provide to clients that will save you time.

If you're really interested in joining, My recommendation would be to wait until they do one of those 1 dollar for a week of access offers to test it out. They typically do that as a promotion 1 - 2 times per year.

Damn.. Thank you for that detailed response.

    I just downloaded Rank Checker.

Also I was surfing around on Youtube and seen a program named Market Samurai. Do you or anyone have a take on this tool? Also came across Keyword Elite

    Thanks so much McBrett

*Sorry don't mean to change the subject but from what I see like you said "McBrett" seoMoz looks geared to reports and not so much a tool.

There is a sub-forum here that has product reviews and testimonials. You can check out the threads there and I know for a fact that they have some on market samurai. They'll probably have some for keyword elite as well.

Personally I recommend market samurai but you can read everyone's testimonials yourself.

They All Told Me Making Money Online Was Just A Scam For The Gullible... Even Though I Was Already Pulling In $1k/Day. Now You Say My Resellers Can Not Make $1k/day But...

Just a note on KW Elite, at time of writing this post if you are based anywhere other than a country that uses Google.com (essentially anywhere outside the US) then all of the tools are useless as they recently stripped out the ability to retrieve data from Google on a per country level.

This was due to "The other results were not accurate so we took that off the program" said the support guy and when I pressed further I got this - "The location and language settings were removed because one of the services we use from google, no longer allows us to select that info, and we are forced to use the defaults you have on your machine."

I use Market Samurai, Traffic Travis occassionally and even Webcomp Analyst to get a varied set of results and they all allow country settings and when I cross reference the data it looks accurate to me, hence why I think the comment above is off the mark.

I was finally supplied with the older version after they said it was supplying inaccurate data...great service eh???

If a company strips out the ability for a customer to use their software then I'd expect a refund like anybody else but they continually swerved my request with daft responses. Shame because I had a certain amount of respect for Brad Callen and his products.

I personally did not like SEOmoz for the price and I ended up choosing Raven Tools as they offer multiple plans that allow you to ease into the software for $20/mo and move to a higher plan as needed. Raven tools have a tone of "tools" that you can use to make your SEO campaigns easier to implement and track. SEOmoz had a great "keyword difficulty" tool, but that was one of the few tools that I actually liked. Definitely wasn't a good fit me for me at $99/mo. Check out Raven tools.
