I just realize my whole network of BANS were de-index by google. Any idea what happen? Most of my sites are no more than 3 months old. Will they ever get back to google and if they do, how long will it take?

As I've read on my forums BANS network can be de-indexed from Google quite frequently. You can send an email to Google staff, or try to alter your content and resubmit. I don't think you can do much with this issue.

thesterlingsilverflatware.com - this is my first site started in Mid July. Got penalize about 2 weeks later. I ask for inclusion but till now doesnt have any reply.

dadabean.com, demiworks.com, riffzzy.com - these are some of the sites that got penalize today.

sportcardsfanshop.com, comicsage.com - these two sites was indexed the longest. I thought they were safe but this time, they were de-indexed along with the others.

Please help me see if I have violated any google TOS.

My concern now is that they will not be able to get back on google at all. If anyone have a good idea how to help me get them index again, that would be good.

      Thanks!

Just my two cents worth. I'm getting my sites indexed by submitting articles with the url in them, to as many article sites as I can. This on the understanding that as google crawls them, they will also find my links and follow them. I wonder if that would work for you?

They were indexed already. But now the whole string of them got de-indexed. So I don't think adding articles will get them back. I will try that though. Thanks!

Change a new way of asking. Has anyone gotten de-index and then re-index back to google successfully? how did you do it and how do you find out the reason for your de-index?

A new way of creating BANS type sites without leaving the "BANS Footprint" is to use Joomla and plugin your affiliate RSS feeds to create a niche site. It works rather well and I have not been de-indexed on any of my sites!!! Plus it does not cost $97. I show you how to do it in my video tutorial that I'm running as a WSO for only $9.95. Totally easy to do and very customizable.. Lots of options.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but these sites sound like spam to me, something Google should rightly not point people to in its search results. How are they adding value to the web? Is there content on these "BANS" other than automatically generated pages with affiliate products?

My 2cent - I had a site once that seemed to be in a very deep penalty. Imagine 2-3 articles submitted to EzineArticles (surely with backlinks to the site with problems) over a year have done NOTHING.

I was shocked, it usually helps. But, as you can see, not always...

          • Dan,

The value is in aggregating products around a niche. Not a lot of value, but not spam.

The best BANS-type sites combine the BANS feeds with legitimate content - those have the same value as any content site. BANS-like feeds are just another form of monetization.

BTW, I do not have any BANS or BANS-like sites.

I think the problem with purchasing sites that are part
of a network of nearly identical sites, like the BANS
sites, is that you become part of a group.

This "Group" you belong to has no hard and fast rules
so each website owner does what ever he wants.
Even if you play by the rules and do things to
improve your own sites, you will ultimately be judged
              as a group.

It's just not practical for SEs to try to figure out if
there are a few members of this group that shouldn't
be treated as part of the group. So, as the fate the
group goes, so go your own fortunes.

Sheehs, I can't believe that no one has read between the lines here.

Google asks to PROVIDE, preferably UNIQUE content.. these sites have NO VALUE what so ever. NONE, NADA, ZIP...

Tell me, as a person who can put one's self into Google's shoes, would you want this site indexed, does it help others, informatively?

Honestly, you wouldn't would you, your site holds NO VALUE what so ever...

Further more, your site is acting as a BRIDGE PAGE, against Google's terms of "Guidance".

So, do you want me advice?

Scrap BANS, Scrap Ebay.. Ebay is a newbies suckers haven, sucks newbies in, drives traffic to ebay, ebay makes a larger end of the sale than the affiliate... Scrap it.

But, if you don't want to listen to that... then... ADD MORE CONTENT to EXPLAIN EACH product.

btw.. BANS is a newbie scam... just sucks inexperienced people in. Move on.. Find something else.

Exactly! Contacting them is a very big mistake in my opinion. You are just further alerting them that you build low content value sites. What I think may have happened is that they picked up one of your sites and then went on to review the other sites you own on your server. I would stop building these sites if I were you. You can trust me on that because I have had nearly a thousand of such sites banned.

I agree that BANS is a newbie scam. I tried it a couple months ago and even when it is somewhat successful it is still such a small money maker.

I'm now working on a much larger project and hopefully it will work out.
