Hello All,

I am very new to online marketing. I have a whitelabel dating site,,, romance4me and needs to promote it. I have been reading all your posts recently. One thing I came across is that there is too much emphasis to write articles. I have few questions regarding article. I hope you guys will take sometime and help me.

How many article directories an article should be submitted to? should i do it manually or is there any software that really works.
What are the top directories warriors submit articles to?
Apart from signature at the bottom, Should I be placing some kind of hypelinks in the article text too? if i do it, will directories ban me for doing it?
Should i be using keywords in the article such as in my case like women seeking men in london etc...

Many Many thanks to all of you and Happy Christmas. All replies will be much appreciated. I cant put signature here coz of forums terms and conditions

    Hi,

How many article directories an article should be submitted to? should i do it manually or is there any software that really works.

You can use Distribute Your Articles service, at distributeyourarticles.com They will submit your article to all article directories including the top ones of course. I recommend that service. If you don't want to pay at this time if you're just starting out maybe for some reasons than just submit to the top article directories manually, such as:
    ezinearticles.com
    isnare.com
    buzzle.com
    goarticles.com
etc, search in warrior forum you'll find the list of top article directories, or search google.

Apart from signature at the bottom, Should I be placing some kind of hypelinks in the article text too? if i do it, will directories ban me for doing it?

No because usually article directories don't accept links in article and therefore your article will be rejected.

Should i be using keywords in the article such as in my case like women seeking men in london etc..

The aim of using article marketing is to get traffic to your website, therefore the articles must be related to your website and informative to the reader, who will read your article and then visit your website for further information. Therefore if your website is about dating, then you should write dating related articles useful for the reader or informative, etc... I personally don't suggest you put any keywords like at the beginning, then at the end of the article, etc to improve your search engine rankings, this is something that you've probably heard of before... just write information and useful articles to your readers, that's the goal, don't worry about putting keywords...

If you visit my WF blog shown in my signature file, I have a free article marketing ebook listed there. It may help you answer your questions.

Article marketing can help you if you use it to its fullest potential, but most people don't.

Then again, article marketing is not the right course of action for everyone.

Most article directories prohibit links in the body of your article, but that does not mean that you should avoid them.

If you link to other helpful resources -- not self-promotional links -- in the body of the article, that can actually increase the perceived quality of your articles, and in turn, help you find publication outside of the article directory sinkhole.

I Really dont like Article marketing in the normal way, In my case i will search for relevant blogs and ask their owners to make the a post where you give very good information and also place your links and your information.

this will help you get links from relevant website and also good traffic, the best of all is that you will get links from different sources .

Also making video is another free technique.

Also consider guest blogging at popular sites. If you have the content that delivers an audience, you can utilize that content in dozens of ways.

Please don't misunderstand my post. I mean to be helpful, not to criticise.

I think that at the moment, you don't quite understand what article marketing is, and what the potential benefits of it are, and why you want to use it, and this is hindering you so much that you're not really able to formulate the questions whose answers will actually give you the information you need to know.

You may be asking the wrong things, as a result, as the answers you get may not help you much.

There are 3 main benefits of article marketing:-

    (i) Syndication of your work, to produce increasing, targeted traffic (and context-relevant backlinks) to your site (this may be pretty difficult, in your niche?);

    (ii) Getting traffic to your site directly from your articles;

(iii) Getting backlinks (in article resource boxes) for your site, so that your site ranks well and you get more search-engine traffic.

You need to try to be clear about which one or two (or all?) of these three you're primarily aiming at, before formulating your questions about article marketing and trying to learn from the answers.

If you want backlinks, then to as many as possible, and there's absolutely no need to change the content in any way, because it won't affect the backlinks you get.

But bear in mind that almost all of them will be PR-0, non-context-relevant backlinks and most of them will be very temporary. They're not valueless, but their value as backlinks is very limited.

There's some software that works, but the turnover of article directories is so fast that it's pretty difficult to find anything that's up to date. Still, one could argue that even a small proportion of "successful submissions" is better than nothing.

I don't use submitting software, and know very few serious article marketers who do, or would.

A recent discussion here on this subject actually produced a lot of consensus (for once!). Ezine Articles seems to be almost everyone's first choice (and is mine, by far). The second and third choices were ArticlesBase and GoArticles. One to keep away from, probably, is "Buzzle", which requires previously unpublished content.

It would be a shame not to, where it's allowed.

You need to read the terms of service for each article directory you use, to avoid this. Remember that you're publishing your work on someone else's site, and they get to make up the rules, and the onus is on you to check them before using their site.

Generally, yes. You should probably have "one main keyword" per article, which you should use at the start of the title, and a few times more, including in the resource-box. Don't overdo it, though. Mentioning your keyword more than twice in 100 words may be counter-productive. You should also try to get in some "related keywords" without it looking obvious that you're doing so.

I don't know enough about your niche and your sort of site to know how well article marketing will work for it. I know that there are tens of thousands of such sites, and it's all pretty competitive, and it'll help you at least to try to have a very clear picture of exactly what you're trying to achieve before setting out to do it.

    Good luck!
