Why dose Google keep droping my sites???

Hello Warriors,Google keeps dropping my sites from page one to page 50 or drops me completely. Please tell me what is going on.

I have been doing SEO marketing for a good 6 month and have 4 sites in progress. But I have been seeing that even with all the backlinks that I do I can't seem to stay on Google. I rank on some of my keywords for 2 days in the number 1 spot then the next 3 days my site totally goes off Google or is in the 50s.

The keywords aren't really comparative, so I don't understand why this is going on. I had my site running for 5-6 month and I make Web 2.0s, News-presses and profiles every day. I thought it could be the site but then once my other site started doing the same thing I knew it had to be something else.

I took a whole class about SEO and am doing EVERYTHING I was told do.
Does anyone have a clue to what can be going on? Please help me with this problem, it is driving me NUTS!!!

Clear your cookies and search again.

You may also want to check your ranking using the following URL. Its usually accurate and relates to the US google search results.

Now I am even more confused.

I cleared the cookies and used your link. It said I was on the second page but when I looked in Google I wasn't there. Do you know why that is?

I use Rank tracker from SEO power pack to check my keywords.

That seems strange! Google shouldn't ban you if you are following all the rules. Are you linking to your own sites or doing any black hat marketing??

Google has over 80 databases. Your site will re-appear.

Its doing a google dance at the moment.

If you use Google to search site:yourdomain.com and you find results, then you are not banned.

It is not uncommon to see that kind of bounce, given the way that Google operates. But the more valuable Google sees your website, the less bounce you will see in the rankings.

In my experience, sometimes it just inexplicably happens. It's happening to one of my sites right now. It was number 1 two days ago but now it is all but gone from the top 20. I haven't bothered to look exactly where it is right now.

The best thing about internet marketing, however, is that you are only limited by your own efforts. After spending some time in internet marketing I have realized that when something like this happens to one of my sites, I simply keep working on all the others I have.

Multiple streams of income are awesome! Don't worry about it too much. Instead, keep working on your other sites! In all likelihood, the Google issue will straighten itself out.

I work with a lot of different sites and it's not uncommon to have Google report one thing and then present something completely different to you.

In fact, I have a couple different Google accounts, and I notice different search results under different accounts, so it's entirely possible that it's just not showing "for you".

It's important to sign up for Google Webmaster Tools to get an accurate depiction of what's going on. Google will tell you in your Webmaster Tools account if there's a problem.

I've got a tutorial on my site (moonviper.com) which explains how to sign up with Google Webmaster Tools, Yahoo Site Explorer and even Bing's new service which will tell you if there's a problem with your site.

I guess there is something wrong with your advertising activity, maybe you break some rules of Google like spamming, it is the number cause why some website ranking dropped and this will also affect your search engine popularity so as possible please avoid doing this kind of activity.

Happens to my site as well. One time I see them on page 1 and later they are gone entirely.

Is it possible Google recognises affiliate sites and does it to them on purpose?

      Thanks.

My site is over 70 pages with very little advertising. Looking at the site statistics I find I have the same problem.

For some reason pages are indexed, then dropped and then later relisted? There is no apparent reason for either.

However it is not the site that is being dropped but a specific page. I have also seen recently that a number of my pages were dropped in Yahoo?

It can has many reasons and if your website is really dropped in SERP, its possible that Google penalized it and it can has several on-page and off-page reasons and you yourself should find the mistakes you did for optimizing your website. And i suggest you to use Google position checker tools to find the exact position of your website in Google for any keyword you want. Its better that deleting cookies and changing browser and ...

In "some" markets, Google shows more fluctuation. Way more... And the only sites that keep top spots are the ones updated daily.

Probably your sites are in these markets?

Igor, Google dance isn't a penalty. It's when Google is temporarily removing you from the rankings to reevaluate your site's authority and relevance. It is Google taking your site off to the side for a moment to interrogate it, if you will.

This can happen for any number of reasons.

Maybe Google is indexing some of your links.

Maybe you built links too fast. This can often cause Google dance.

Perhaps your site doesn't have enough content for the amount of links it's getting. This often tips Google off that your site might not be very high quality and is instead just spamming links.

Maybe your links aren't coming from the best sources.

Either way, keep adding content and keep building links. Since it sounds like your sites are struggling with trust rank since they are dancing so much, get them some edu and gov packets or some pumper blogs for high on page PR links to build trust and authority.

And if it's any relief to you, Google dance typically has a sling shot effect if you're persistent. So when you start dancing, rather than building links more slowly, build them at the same rate or possibly even faster, then you will likely reappear at the top of the rankings.
