Benefits of keyword rich domains

Hi Everyone. This is my first post on this forum and I'm really happy to have discovered it. Looking forward to getting involved.

My question is about the benefits of keyword rich domains. I purchased a domain name for about 7 months ago. I used my company name acmewebresults.com as opposed to looking for a keyword rich domain name which would target the market i'll be targeting such as "small business seo" and buying a domain name such as "smallbusinesseo.com" as an example.

I'm just wondering if it makes sense to change domains to something more keyword dense. For clients would it make sense to look at changing domains? Do you lose any seo benefit such as domain name, links, pagerank, etc. when you purchase a parked domain?

Any responses are very appreciated.

    My advice is to keep your current site as is and...

    1) Purchase 2-5 aged domain names with seo in the domain name
    2) Used GoDaddy auctions to find them through searching for seo
    3) Purchase domains that are 5 years and older with a SEOmoz page authority of >30
    4) Make sure the domain is indexed in Google
    5) Use word press or blogger for your blog and post 3-5 blogs a week

    One site, nor domain, is rarely the answer to conquering SEO.

      Thhanks viralso. I was wanting to know why you think I should have 5 domain names instead of 1. Wouldn't it better to focus my site promotion efforts, linkbuilding, etc on one domain instead of diluting it to 5 seperate domains??? Thanks Very Much.
