Targeting keywords with "S"?

Hello warriors. Does targeting keyword with "s" means targeting the root keyword too? For example, if I only optimize my page with the keyword "table cloths", does it mean I am optimizing for the word "table cloth"? Thanks!

    They are both unique when it comes to seo. The same goes for your anchor text that will be coming in for your link. Choose one or the other when it comes to focusing your seo.

    Yeah, you can easily see that in action by testing it out yourself in Google search. Example: search "basketball" and then "basketballs."
