Can i make money with Google adsense from a .CO DOMAIN in US

HI,

I buy this domain autoinsurancequotesonline .co

For serches in US have 3.600 - exact and cpc is 34$

Can u tell me if .CO DOMAIN is a TLD or not. If u type www google co don't appear any result that mean is not for COLOMBIA.

    .co is the ccTLD of Colombia. You can rank country-specific domains universally across Google's various country indexes (I've done it with my sites), but generally speaking, unless you're intending to target a specific country, you're better off not using that country's ccTLD, but insteading opting for a regular TLD, such as .com, .net or .org, etc.

    I'm not saying it's impossible to rank well with a ccTLD anywhere but within that one country: I myself rank quite well in the UK, US, Canadian and Australian indexes with a .me (ccTLD for Montenegro) and several .uk domains (ccTLD for United Kingdom) ... but it's adviseable, in most cases, to only use a ccTLD if you're actually intending to target a specific country - even if only because a TLD doesn't "hinder perceived relevance" as much as a ccTLD might to humans using search-engines.

    This is just my opinion.

      I agree with DireStraits that people would relate a domain extension (e.g. .co.uk, .eu, .us etc.) to a specific country. The SEs on the other hand would relate your website to the types of content and backlinks to the site. For example, a website with a co.uk extension and with many backlinks from sites in India would achieve a fairly good SERP when search is done in India. Of course there are many other contributing factors that could affect the SERP outcome of your site.

        You can make money from any webpage that follows TOS and you
        are capable of putting the code on. Oh, and provided you put
        in the work to put some decent content and promote it.

        How often it appears in SERPs is another matter. You don't need
        google traffic to make money.

        My free webpages from earthlink have been around since 1997. They
        are even in yahoo directory (when yahoo was free). They regularly
        appear in SERPs. I use them more now as funnelers.

        1997. Those were the days. Link exchanging, webrings, guestbooks, blink tag,
        dial up, AOL Hell, ahhhhhhhhhhhh. Memories.

    While the .co domain is still assigned to Colombia at the moment, a Google spokesperson said that would soon change. "We will rank .co domains appropriately if the content is globally targeted.
