Web 2.0 Properties (not a link wheel)

The following strategy is an old one - except for one difference: IP address.

Here is the technique.

Let's say I create a new website - and it's about 100 pages. I then outsource work to let's say five people who create three blogs each (blogger, WP and knol) and also write three articles and place them on EZA, Hubpages and Squidoo (unique articles for each three). All of these link to my 100 page website BUT DON'T link to each other (therefore, no link wheel since G frowns on this).

OK - I know that this has been done before by many people. However, with the work done by five different people with five different IP addresses work in moving my site up in the SERPs? - or does it really matter. Maybe I should save my own money and do it myself.

Just wondering what you guys think.

It can but it would also be better to try and give your 'Tier 1' links some more power by linking to them from other sites.

So each web property for example can get 1 way links from article directories, social bookmarking sites, rss feed sites, blogs etc etc etc. Ive tried it many times and it can be quite powerful.

You can use a tool like UAW to build links to these properties, just make sure theres no overlap. You can do this by having just 1 link in your resource box.

Nicely done Nettech. However, does it matter if you have different IP addresses or just one?
