When I got into this gig...I came in with a conservative mindset of how much money each one of my sites should make...

I only expect to make $100 to $300 a month per site (this is why I want to build 300 or so sites).

******AM I WRONG IN MY THINKING*****

Am I too conservative or am I wishing for too much???

    Hey derh,

I think this really depends on how much you want to scale each site up, how targeted your traffic is, and how much commission/earnings you will be receiving per sale. Select your keyword research wisely and find good products to promote. Remember, everything is scaleable online with PPC, SEO, Advertising, etc.

Yeah... you need to be way more specific than that. That's kind of like asking "How much can I expect to make from playing the stock market?" :p

You can expect to make $0 if you do it wrong, or you can expect to make way more than $100. There are so many variables that no one can even make a ballpark guess at what you'll make per month.

If you plan to go tohe micro niche route i think even $100 per site per month is a little overboard. If you go with an authority site with lots of pages then you could make $100-$300 per month for that site. But good luck building 300 sites like that.

That should depend on how you choose your keyword. The lower the competitition, the better. For example, you might never make any $ in a year for targeting "laptop computer",its too competive but you might be luckier with "cheap used energy saving sony laptop computer".You get it

It depends on the power of your websites. If you have an authorized website, you can compete for high competitive keywords and make thousands of dollars monthly through your sites. But if your site is average you should concentrate on low competitive keywords and surely you make less money.

    well my friend
Why not start with making $10 a day or week with 5 sites!!
find out which works best for you then add some more off that kind of site
so at teh end of 2 months or 8 weeks you will have 8 sites that are making $10 each site

or at the end of he year if you just add one site per week you wil have 52 sites making $10 a day ie $520 a day

far more achievable in my book - slow and steady works every time

you can easily estimate it: usually 1-3% of people visiting your site will convert to buyers.
