Sometimes if I google my keywords, I will see I am not ranking where I should be. But then go over to chrome or my phone (use this less often) and I see everything looks ok.

What causes this? How can I turn it off?

Two thing that might cause this...

Are you logged into your Google account? If so Google likes to show you personal results, because they feel like it's more relevant.

Second reason you might need to clean your cache, again this is something google is doing.

So log out of your google account and also clean your cache and you should see the normal results

    Hope this helps.

Try to clean up your cache. That should do the trick.

Quick and dirty way to assure your cache is clear is to use pagewash.com as a free proxy. Best way is to acquire Market Samurai.
