were subdomain affect the google ranking?

I have had my website ijdmtoy dot com for almost 4 years.

But since 2009 I have been using its subdomain store.ijdmtoy.com as my homepage and let ijdmtoy dot com redirect it to store.ijdmtoy.com

However when I am using the market samurai to check my website, it shows the domain age is very very young (indicate as -)

So I was wondering whether the subdomain has any affect on this and whether the subdomain will weight down my website ranking?

btw, my website PR is 3 already, but why the domain age still indicates as young domain?

    Redirect the home page of your website to the subdomain you want using 301 redirect. In this case your problem will be solved and all value of the old website will be passed to new subdomain.

      i am using 301 redirect.

      Both my www.ijdmtoy and store.ijdmtoy have PR3 but the DA (domain age) still shows as young.

      why?
