What web pages rank higher?

Was wondering when we do SEO what pages would stand a better chance at ranking on the first page in Google?

1. A fairly new wordpress blog
2. Ezine article page
3. Hub article page
4. YouTube video
5. Squidoo page

I am choosing a couple keywords and writing specific content for each one. I am not entirely sure which page to use to drive backlinks to. I have a wordpress blog that is fairly new but I don't know if I should use one of the sub-pages to do SEO on for a specific keyword.

    Ezine or YouTube is what I have noticed have had the best quick, 1st page results. It has to do with the credibility Google gives those sites.

    I should say that I have had the most success with Ezine/YouTube, but others might have more success getting 1st page results using other methods.

    Youtube would probably rank highest but it might also be the hardest to redirect to your website which is the main goal, right?

    So I would go with ezinearticles.

    If your ultimate goal is traffic to your WordPress site (is it WordPress.com or WordPress.org?) then it's worth doing the work to get your WordPress site featuring well.

    If you just want an article on the front page of Google and it's not important what domain it's on, and if your WordPress site is .com, then Ezinearticles, WordPress and YouTube are all good.

    Depending on the subject of your article, Squidoo can also be good, but only for limited subjects.

    So when you're thinking about this think about it in the context of your longer term goal.

    Not sure what you meant by YouTube videos being the hardest to redirect to our main site? The link can just be mentioned in the description and also underneath the video in the edit program. Maybe you were referring to something else.

      Yes a web page can be ranked higher by using the video on the web via you tube also the posting the images on the page.

    Surely youtube, but you can't do as much of advertising/selling over youtube as on your own page.

    I have recently researched and identified about 275 different keyword phrases that all have a hubpage on the first page of Google but no EZA articles.

    As part of a case study I'm going to systematically begin an article marketing assault campaign to see if I can get my EZA articles to overtake the hubpages for each keyword phrase.

    I am going to start an assualt campaign also. My aim is to outrank the number 1 position for med-high competition keywords with YouTube videos. After my research it seems like using this means ensures the best rankings in the least time.

    Videos could also get much more click thoughs also. Will keep you posted on how things go and for which keywords I managed to rank highly for.

    for longtail keywords, definitely Ezine or Youtube, but for highly competitive search terms, I'd go for wordpress blog, it's worth the investment.

    For my case, EZA & WP blog seem to be having better advantage. But it really depends on the on and off page optimization...

    One thing I noticed is that Squidoo sites seem to be less and less on Google page#1.?.?.?

    If its about a content then the first choice is E-zine for social bookmarking digg, and for blogging hub pages you tube dont have a competition in video blogging.
