Hey Warriors,

My friend's website has 0-2 visitors for the last 2 weeks. Before it has 700 visitors per day. But, still it has the good Google ranks on Greece Google. There were no changes in the ranking,

What would be the reason for this? Any thoughts guys......

    Ideas ...

    1. Seasonal traffic?

    2. Go into analytics and look at traffic sources. Was it all referred traffic? If so, did that site stop referrring?

    3. Are you really still in that position for that keyword (make sure you are not logged into a google account when you do a search).

    4. Anything else changed in the market?

The site is about athens escort. Yes, the site is top, I checked with some other friends too. They can see it on top still. I don't think any changes in market.

You could be barking up the wrong tree. Were you actually getting
700 visitors via google search, or somewhere else? Many times,
that "somewhere else" can be gone in the blink of an eye.

Sometimes what happens, is you get some links and get a surge.
Then traffic can dive like a rock. You can stay #1 and see a traffic dive.
I have a few political sites. When certain people make the news, the
search traffic surges. Then dives. But the sites are still #1.

I would be happy with any crumbs I got with a site on Athens escorts.
Maybe they were in the news...and now have dropped out of favor.

it happens in case of seasonal sites. but i don't think that yours is a seasonal site. let me ask you some thing? what kind of SEO you are using?
remember Google crawl sites without any notice. it can be monthly, weekly, or evenly 2 time in the whole year. so don't be so happy that you are still in the top position. cause after crawling it may not be in that position. check your SEO techniques.
