Building $5 Adsense Mini Sites With Only Article Marketing?

Hi,

I wanted to know if this goal is realistic or not. I plan to build around 20 adsense sites with my main promotion of only article marketing. I will target keywords that have a minimum click price of $1.

Then I simply build say a 8 page mini site that targets related keywords in this niche. Now I basically just write say 3 articles per day and submit these articles to the top 6 article directories. These articles will target long tail keywords in the niche.

The way I figure it is I only need say 7 clicks per day to make $5 per day with the website. I figure each 3 articles I write should bring 1 unique per day.

So 3 articles = 1 unique per day

Now I write 50 articles total and that brings me around 17 uniques per day. Now out of these 17 people I get 7 to click my ads which bring me $5 per day.

Then I build another site like this and rinse and repeat.

I know many articles will bring no traffic for the long term while 1 article might bring the most. But I think writing 3 articles and submitting them to the top 6 article directories should bring me 1 unique per day on auto pilot.

I don't know......does this seem realisitic or am I missing something? Thanks

I would say that it sounds like a legitimate plan but there are too many variables to know how much you are going to make. If you go the extra mile to make sure that the articles you write are quality and people want to learn more, you could well exceed just a few visitors a day.

I say go for it! You will never know until you try

    Go for it!!!

My suggestion is build just one site and promote it, just the way you have outlined there. The only thing I would change is adding more content to your site not only 8 or 10 articles.

Write long articles, 500 words or longer, so that you have more chances to rank for very long tail keywords.

You could earn more than five dollars a day with a site like that.

Then rinse and repeat for other sites

17 people and 7 adsense clicks? so your hoping for almost a 40% click through rate, i think you are dreaming a little bit to much, your goals are very possible but you will need more traffic then the 17 unique's daily.

Using only article marketing to drive traffic is probably not a wise decision. With Adsense you want to drive organic search traffic based on good keyword selection.

Yes 7 clicks from 17 visitors is way off the mark, more like 0-1

Also your articles will not produce those click throughs for ever, you will need to keep submitting new ones.

    Doable but needs work

You got a great plan to start off with, however I would would recommend you space the article submissions out a bit. Per say like submitting 1 article per site every 3-5 days & also doing a unique niche related blog comment for each site every 3-5 days. Just my opinion but it seems to work well for me in terms of serps and long term profits.

Corey, you seem like you are happy writing content so I think there is a more efficient way to attract traffic and clicks to your site. Using article marketing as your primary source of traffic means you are having to sell the Click Through twice. I'm not sure what CTR you are expecting from the article to your site but I would assume even 20% is optimistic? This 20% must also then click an ad on your site for them to pay off.

This CTR is going to be more realistically in the 5 to 10% range. That means you need to get about 50 visitors to read your content on the article directory before you get 1 click (with an adsense CTR of 10%, 100 visitors at 5%). You also have the added problem of that the people who do click through already like what you have to say. There is a chance that these people are going to be less likely to click through to an advertisment rather than reading your main article.

If you like the idea of using 3rd party sites for traffic (due to their community and search engine authority) then perhaps it would be better to look into the revenue sharing sites.

If you really want to get your own Adsense sites up and running then I would put the primary focus on creating content for your site rather than writing for article directories. 3 articles per day will get you a lot of content and this will attract a lot of long tail traffic over time if you put a little effort into backlink building as well.

Since you already love writing I would track down some related blogs that you could contribute to as a guest writer. This will get you a lot more targeted traffic - faster - than waiting for results from an article directory. Look into other ways to build some links to your content and with the amount of writing you already plan on doing you should get much better results than the $5 you hope for.

I realise this isn't the mini-site you asked about creating but I just think if you are going to do so much writing it would pay off more in other ways.

    Nice.

I agree too that Article Marketing is a numbers game. So while you are applying the same plan to each site, some may be successful, others may not be.

Yeah, the mini-site craze. Put your efforts in one decent site. The result will
far better in the long run than 20 mini-sites.

You are never guaranteed any price per click, no matter what the niche.

And you are sure going to have to do way more than article submission for
      backlinks and traffic.

No reason why you cannot strive to make one site make $100 a day.
