Custom tracking code for affiliate sales on clickbank. I need help

Ok so i contacted my vendor, and asked if i could get a custom tracking code installed since clickbanks tracking system is very shady, he agreed and replies with the following message.

"Hi Look4VGames,

If you would like to install tracking code on the thank you page, we could do that.
Just send the code in a .txt format in your reply, and we will have it up within a day or two.

Thank you for promoting our products."

My question is where in the heck do i get a tracking code in text format? How exactly does it work? any information would be great! Or do i just give him my clickbank tracking code?
