New to SEO and IM

Hi all

Newbie on the forum so apoligies if im posting in the wrong section.

I have a small driving school in the uk and have been using odesk to outsource and create backlinks for the last 6 months with mixed results. I am on p1 of google for one of my keywords but i need to be on p1 for about another 2/3 keywords to really make a difference to my business.
My website only gets around 10 hits per day at present and my keyword neiche is not that compettitive , so i have been told by my website desighner.

I was going to buy a couple of Warrior products in particular the "backlinks dominator" so i can create frther links to the site. Would you recommend the product? Found it online for $9 ?

If not what other products should i be using? ANy other hints tips for effective ranking would be appreciated

    Hi There Paul,

    I'll be straight up with you -- Don't bother spending any money on services such as those $9.99 link blasts. Sure they look cheap at first, but to actually make a dent, you're going to need to hire them on a daily basis. You'd be better off getting your own firepower and do some of this yourself. Some of the tools I would highly recommend are the following.

    1) Keyword Research - Market Samurai
    2) Social Bookmarking - BookMarkingDemon

    Being able to determine keywords that you can actually make a difference in will take extensive research, but can be done. If you need any more information, please let me know via private message.

    Do you not have access yourself to Google Analytics to see what keywords are driving traffic? It's easy to do I wouldn't rely on your webmaster to tell you this, it's essential for an online business. Take the above advice, search for relevant targeted keywords in the UK that you think will get you more business, create a page or two around those keywords and get back links to them, they will rise naturally in the SERPS.
