Just stumbled across this site:

Uhdubai . com

Check out the backlink profile:

The best dofollow link it has is a PR3, and the only superior link to that is a Nofollow Wikipedia link. The site itself is a PR4:

Coincidence? Discovery? Thoughts?

Wouldn't surprise me a bit since Wikipedia's links aren't considered to be advertising.

It is okay to contact me! I have been developing software since 1999, creating many popular products like phpLD.

It would surprise the heck out of me since Google themselves have said that nofollow links do not pass PageRank:

In general, we don't follow them. This means that Google does not transfer PageRank or anchor text across these links. Essentially, using nofollow causes us to drop the target links from our overall graph of the web.

I've actually tried adding links to Wikipedia when I interned for a marketing firm thinking I would help their position in the search engines (how little I knew back then...) and I had an editor take away the link immediately, saying it was nofollow and it wouldn't help. Take that for what it's worth, but Wikipedia links are clearly nofollow and if you try adding a link to an even remotely popular page it will probably get taken down quickly anyway.

    Doesn't mean anything.

PR hasn't updated since April so it had some good links and lost them and PR never updated. Thats it.

That and the fact that no backlink tool shows all the backlinks so its impossible to conclude that there are not other backlinks with PR that are feeding it juice. Doesn't indicate at all that it is coming from wikipedia
