Hello everyone, I thought I had the pr0 through pr10 down, and now I'm confused. When I go to a forum or blog it tells me the pagerank is 6. But then when I click on an article in order to post a comment pagerank goes to 0 or unranked.

To get high quality pr links should I look at the page rank of the actual page where I post. Also what does it mean when a page is unranked? Could someone please clarify what I should be looking for when searching for high quality pr links. Thanks
#pagerank

PR is different for each page on the site. N/A has no pr whatsoever. However, some people believe home page PR carries over on other pages.

Page rank is one of the important aspect in SEO,
is mattars a lot. PR is unique for each page of respective website,
its not equal for all pages, it varies.....

Nameless is right. The home page has one PR, the article has another, and then the dynamic page where you write the comment has 0. You need to find blogs / forums where the comments appear on sites with PR. That said, I do suspect Google takes into account home page PR... they know forum pages have lower PR than the home page, and there's still some value from linking from a page deep within a high PR site.

Nope - PR doesn't matter diddly.

One of our blogs is a PR 1 home page and zero every where else. It makes between $25 - $35 bucks a day. All shopping stuff. Basic products. It's just old, and has lots of pages.

Pagerank means nothing when it comes to making money.

        Money comes from traffic.

We have PR 3 and 4 blogs that get much less traffic than the PR 1 shopping blog.

Chasing PR is the newbie curse.

For example, the home page of Telegraph.co.uk - Telegraph online, Daily Telegraph and Sunday Telegraph - Telegraph , has a PR of 8, but the inner pages could have PR's from 0-?.

Still getting a link from any page on that site should be more valuable than getting a link from any other page on a different lower authority/no authority site, with the same inner page PR, in my opinion of course
