Extremely valuable PPC tool
- SEO |
I was reading Perry Marshalls Definitive Adwords Guide and he was talking about exact matches, phrase matches and broad matches for your keywords.
Exact is in [brackets] and means that the searcher must type in exactly the keywords you're advertising in that order with nothing els.
Phrase match is in "quotes" and means that the searcher must type the keywords in that order, but may also add something before and/or after them.
Broad match is just as is and just has to include the words. In other words if your keywords are 'cheap shoes' and someone types in 'my cheap dad bought me some red shoes', your ad may show up.
The point of the different ways of doing this is to find out what people are typing an how to get the best response at the best price.
In his book, he suggests a tool that adds the brackets and quotes for you to your list of keywords. It costs $20 a month. I think it's a great tool, but didn't think you should have to pay that much for it. ($240 a year!).
So I hired a programmer and had him develope it for me and now I'm offering it to you for free. To start using it, just go to Keyword Secretary
Please let me know your thoughts!
