Question about link wheels

If I wanted to build a link wheel for the back links, could I use one article and just spin it, or do you think that would not work for the purposes intended.

The whole point would be to move the intended web site up the SERP ranks, and nothing else.

    Yep, that should work, as long you spin to at least 70% uniqueness.

    be careful with link wheels. It can go against you in the end once Google recognizes the patterns..

    I like the concept of link wheels, but as soon as you mentioned spinning articles you lost me. You want the sites on the link wheel to have content that is appealing so it will lead people to want to read further. A spun article will most likely not do this.

      The only reason for building one of these is to generate links. I want a variety of links. My aim is not to drive traffic with them, I am just trying to move my site up the SERP as much as I can.

    I've got to tell you, I have tried doing this fairly recently and I don't think it really had that much impact on my ranking. Link wheels just don't seem to be as effective as they used to be. The only way to really make them work is to genuinely participate in the Web 2.0 communities that you are using. This of course takes more work and more time in which you could be using adding unique and quality content to your own website.

    My advice to you would be to create a really awesome piece of content or anything that others might link to your site for. Draw some attention to that link bait and your links will increase without you having to do anymore work. Although it may take some work and brainstorming, the outcome will prove much more beneficial than spending your time on link wheels.

    Google doesn't like link wheels, and if your pattern is discoverd it'll get penalized....not neccessarily your website, but all of the work you put into your link wheel.

    So instead just spin that article, and submit it with direct backlinks coming to your site. If you want to improve those links, just use a different spun article, and submit links to your backlinks with that spun article....go ahead and submit that spun article with backlinks to your site too.

    Don't forget that even if you're just submitting articles for links...people still read them. If someone reads your article, and is interested enough to click your link...don't ruin a potential sale/optin/ad clicker because you sent them to the same article on a different page.

    Hello guys,

    its not locigal for me why google will penaltie you by building a link wheel.

    Look, google says itself, you should be building various backlinks and a link wheel does it makes or not?

    An example;
    You have a product niche adsense site, like wellnessproducts or so,so there you not writing posts or articles, only product reviews, make linkbuilding so;

    you writing daily posts or articles, make it so;

    1-2 different articles (different topics not spun-rewriting yes) you send to squidoo (wellnessproducts/squidoo...)
    1-2 other different topic posts/articles (two different topics) to hubpages or so (wellnessproducts/hubpages...)

    an others 5-8 different topic articles, tey send you to 5-8 different high pr directories.

    All with backlink or various backlink to your product adsense site.
    And important! On your product adsense site you link back to your squidoo and hubpages "blog".
    So that youre adsense product site looks like have informative posts/ articles.

    With this method, why should google be penaltie you? Why?
    That google will penalty you i dont understand, ist very un locigal for me, please expplain me.

    This method in my eyes looks like an natural veriety backlinking structure, backlinks from variety sites, with variety different content and different PR.

    This will look be fine, than the google spiders come to you and can again go out to your backlink back to squidoo, hubpages and others.

    Have very success, plese tell and discuss with me.

    best wishes

      I don't think Google will "penalize" your site per se, but the value of those types of links is not what they used to be. You would have more success contacting a blog or website owner of a relevant and high authority website and asking them to allow you to write an article to be included there.

      However, if you are poorly spinning your articles and submitting these low grade articles to other Web 2.0 sites simply to get back links, it may raise a red flag and your sites could get reviewed manually by a Google employee. At that point they can choose to de-index your websites or ban you from Adsense...it's really up to them.

      Too many people are using these Web 2.0 sites merely to get links and aren't actually contributing anything to their communities. So the moderators at these Web 2.0 communities may just erase what you have added and/or these links just won't be worth anything over time anyway...especially if you aren't contributing regularly like they expect you to.

      Google knows that people are using link wheels to manipulate the rankings and thus have made adjustments in their algorithms. There are better ways to spend your time in picking up links other than by using link wheels.

    Link wheel method is effective as long as you execute it with quality. No duplicates just fresh content will do.

    Hello Matt, hello jhosean

    Thanks for your answer.
    So i thin its better i promot my dily blogposts (not all) on 2-3 social news sites and write daily fresh articles, so 5 every day, and send them to 5 different high PR directories, i think this method it be safer i fly under the google radar.

    I admit, my english is not perfect, so I would like to use a spinner.
    But unfortunately, the spinner brings not a good quality or they are expensive.

    But i dont understand, that sites are Mister Wong,Wikipedia, technorati, Metacritic, and many more, always not have own content, but they ranks high?

    So in think the best method is like a little bit autoblogg, so that google think the content is yours and you will be earning with adsense, or any other monetizing methods.

    How i do make this?

    best wishes
