So I've been talking to and helping some people with brand new websites and I've noticed even after 2 weeks, some of them didn't even have their website indexed. What is your average time to get a new site indexed by google?

For those that don't know, type in the google search

site:www.yourdomain.com

My average is 48 hours, just wondering what everybody else is.

About 24 hours. But I'm not starting any new sites these days.

The pages on my authority site project are all indexed within 12 hours, that is they appear in the serps, it takes anywhere up to a week or 2 before they show up as indexed in webmaster tools though. What's kind of interesting is they all follow the same pattern. I post them (usually at night EST) and by the morning they're on the first page for their keyword. Then the next day they drop waaaay down or completely out of the top 100. And on the 3rd day they're back to page 1 and stay there, albeit bouncing around a bit.

Good luck with your challenge to $100/day. The easy way is to learn how to make $1/day, then just scale it up to 100 sites. If you already broke the $2/day mark, make 50 websites and you'll be there in no time!

I see rule #2 is to try to post once every day to update, how come your last update is on Jan 3rd, it's already the 9th, you could have had 6 days of content. Keep up the good work. $100/day isn't that far away.

The challenge I'm working on now is to make $100/day from ONE site, not 100 sites. It's currently running between $4-$5/day. Not bad for 3 weeks working about an hour a day I think

Oh, the blog in my sig isn't the site that I'm running the challenge on, that's just the blog where I'm updating my progress. The site is being updated with new content daily.

Between a day or two for me. I find it helps if you ping your site, add it to digg.com and even submit an article with a link to it to ezinearticles. This usually speeds up the process.
